Hello! This project was brought to life with Dual R Studios. To see more work from myself and other talented artists at the studio, visit www.dualrstudios.com !!
Thanks to Helen Penava and Richard Roberts that help me to build this project!
A little description about the setting:
A rocky planet with vast cliffs of dark rock, similar to those found in Norway. The planet's atmosphere is saturated with moisture, creating a constant, soft illumination. Low, gray clouds almost always cover the sky, producing a gloomy and mysterious atmosphere.
Water is abundant, existing in seas, lakes, and tides, but it is contaminated with toxic substances, making it unsafe to drink without proper treatment.
The fauna virtually nonexistent. For the most part, there are only insects.
the Flora there are mosses adorning the rocks, fungi feeding on the humidity.
The society: Small populations inhabit this planet, mostly hermits and a religious order of priests. They possess technology, very scarce for the period in which we find ourselves. On other planets, they possess much more advanced technologies. But those who live here, or choose to live here, prefer a simpler, more spiritual existence, in harmony with the planet.
Water, in addition to being sacred, is a precious resource, as potable water is very scarce and can be purified through a process that requires time and technique. In fact, theres order of priests, in addition to having other characteristics, has the ability to purify water. They utilize an electrical energy system that provides a massive energy discharge, purifying the water.
Technology: Integration with the Ancient: Technology is combined with objects and structures made of seemingly simple materials, such as rock, metals, and other similar materials.
The temple is built into the rock on a large, stormy cliff where the waves of the sea crash. It has underground rooms illuminated by artificial lights. Priests live and train here, venerating the union of two elements: water and the power of electricity. They create potable water, making life possible.
In the main hall, there is a huge basin of black water. It is said to be the only naturally occurring potable water. Additionally, thanks to the combination of electrical energy, priests can have visions of the future or possible destinies reflected in it. This is not possible in other circumstances and with different water.
The character the models I used were made by Pablo Domiguez ;)
